Terms of Service
Self Finance · Version 2026-10-22 · October 22, 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
Self Finance provides tools for organizing personal and family finances. By creating an account and accepting these terms, users agree to this version's rules. The Privacy Policy explains data processing. The service does not replace professional financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.
2. Account and permitted use
Provide accurate information, use only accounts and data you are authorized to use, and protect your credentials. Do not share passwords, access others' accounts, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass permissions or use the service unlawfully. Report suspected account misuse to your invitation contact. You are responsible for the records you enter and for checking results.
3. Families and social accounts
Family membership requires invitation and acceptance. Family features share information according to group permissions; consider this sharing before accepting. Social sign-in also depends on Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Supabase rules and availability. Disconnection requires confirmation and a working alternative, preserving the account ID and financial data.
4. Data ownership and use
Users retain rights to the data they provide. They authorize processing only as needed for features, authorized family sharing and Privacy Policy purposes. Service use does not transfer rights to software, trademarks or third-party materials.
5. Availability and responsibilities
The service may undergo maintenance, failures, interruptions or feature changes, including due to external dependencies. Continuous availability or absence of errors is not promised. Check your transactions and keep copies of essential records. Estimates and charts depend on the accuracy of data entered.
6. Limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for losses depends on proof of harm and its relationship to the responsible party's conduct. Financial results, profits or decisions based on reports are not guaranteed. Nothing excludes mandatory rights, liability that cannot legally be limited or applicable user protections.
7. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited for misuse, account protection or service closure. Users may request closure through their invitation contact, with identity verification and record handling according to the Privacy Policy. A Meta request to delete Facebook data does not close the Self Finance account or erase financial transactions.
8. Changes and contact
Material changes will be identified by a new version and may require acceptance before using affected features. For questions, contact your invitation administrator and state “Terms — Self Finance”. No business address, exclusive venue or undisclosed legal identity is established here.
